Villa Cabrini Academy

Villa Cabrini Academy was a private Catholic high school for girls in the United States that operated in the mid-20th century, under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
The academy was located in Burbank, California, and served the Catholic population of the San Fernando Valley.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://museumsanfernandovalley.blogspot.com/2013/11/villa-cabrini-yearbooks-more-than-just.html )〕 It was sponsored by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, founded by St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, the first citizen of the United States to be declared a saint by the Catholic Church.〔(【引用サイトリンク】work=Mother Cabrini Shrine )
The school closed in 1971. Its campus was acquired in the mid-1980s by Woodbury University, which moved its operations from its original urban site in Los Angeles to the grounds of the former high school in 1987. The school chapel was converted into use as the university library.〔
